PRIMROSE
Built by AR Homes® Richmond (Ellington Custom Homes, LLC)
Interior Designer: Kim LaQuire
A deft touch, inspired materials and exceptional craftsmanship ensure that this impressive, modern farmhouse home also comes across as warm and inviting. The Primrose puts its guests in awe and at ease with striking design that’s easy to live in. Use of wood is carried throughout the home in obvious ways like the flooring of the expansive great room and kitchen, and in more subtle ways, such as warm wood detailing in the casual dining room with wine display. Whether painted or natural, the grains mingle beautifully in contrast to the brick fireplace. Nearby, the stepped-up den offers privacy and a unique interior corner window to monitor the main living area which boasts a tray ceiling. Kitchen and bathrooms are a study in the use of lighting and tile, with colors and patterns that add warmth and comfort to this bright, open home.
ASCONA
Built by AR Homes® Gainesville (Barry Rutenberg and Associates, Inc.)
Interior Designer: Sharon Freeman
Extensive use of glass in the entryway and two-story foyer invites guests and residents alike, foreshadowing the wide open feel of the main living area. A wall of pocketing glass doors extends the indoor living space outward to a lanai and covered cabanas. Privacy is afforded in the quiet den in the front of the home as also in the guest suite with wet bar and seating area. The owners’ suite offers spacious luxury away from it all where you’ll find a generous walk-in closet and opulently appointed bathroom. A truly functional home, it offers a three-car garage and well-planned utility room, which features a home delivery center and immediate access to the owner’s bath, help the home operate flawlessly.
COASTAL SOL II
Built by AR Homes® Lakeland (Kensington Homes, Inc.)
Interior Designer: Angie Thomas
In the right hands, interior design transforms a model home into a masterpiece. In the stunning Coastal Sol II, its look is beholden neither to sentiment nor heirlooms, a blank page filled with fearless choices, like the bold blue in the den’s tray ceiling. This color carries throughout the great room, anchoring the base of the kitchen island and bringing out varied coastal tones of the hex-tile backsplash. The interior design of the home feels light and airy, the result of neutral fabrics and use of metal and wood that mimic the expansive glass door walls, while white walls enhance the bright, open floor plan. The owners’ suite is complete with textured carpeting, soothing greys and pinks and modern yet eclectic furnishings. The owners’ bath features stormy quartz counters and a tile floor that climbs the glass-enclosed shower wall in a herringbone pattern. Upstairs shines as well, with a game room to put you at ease and a bedroom you may never want to leave.
